Join the 2017 Summer Learning Program and “Build a Better World” by Learning and Reading.
June 1-August 20, 2017
It’s time to Build a Better World with Broward County Library’s Summer Learning Program! Enjoy exciting activities, register for our learning program and meet reading and learning goals to win prizes. It’s open to all ages and has four categories- Preschool, Children, Teen and Adult- each with specific goals and prizes.
The Summer Learning Program helps prevent summer learning loss in children and teens and builds skills that maintain or improve academic proficiency scores. Adults can read and enjoy library programs while modeling good learning behaviors to children and teens. All ages can experience character- and community- building activities that encourage personal and academic growth.
Broward County Library’s 2017 “Build a Better World” theme invites everyone to build reading and learning skills and knowledge in STEM concepts of science, technology, engineering and math.
The Friends of the Miramar Library is proud to sponsor many of the programs you will find at Miramar Library this summer. Registration begins May 18, 2017 and is ongoing. Register and track your reading and learning from June 1, 2017-August 20, 2017. You can register online at Broward.org/Library/Summer, at the Miramar Library, or at any Broward County library location.
We look forward to seeing you and your family at many of the Miramar Library’s fun and educational Summer Learning programs!
